Payments Coach [United States]


 

The Payments Coach will help train, develop, and encourage team members to ensure production and quality goals are met at an individual level. They will be responsible for helping oversee the day-to-day work of the team while also handling escalated situations and helping facilitate a positive atmosphere within the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside several internal departments on resolving settlement issues and deposit issues
  • They will be responsible for managing the day-to-day work of the team while maintaining their own tasks

    Encourages and motivates team members
  • Works with Supervisor to communicate production goals, and helps team achieve their individuals goals
  • Identifies training opportunities and assists leadership with team member and new hire training as well as continuing education for existing representatives
  • Handles deposit escalation issues and reviews team’s work for quality and guideline compliance
  • Helps facilitate team meetings to update members on best practices and continuing expectations
  • Maintains professional relationships with internal departments
  • Works with team to confirm that deposits will process successfully, and addresses any deposit issues. Also works with the SPA/CRR teams as needed for resolution.
  • Analyzes the needs of the teams to develop tools and reports
  • Helps implement and enforce policies/procedures set forth by Management

Requirements:

  • Must have debt settlement experience
  • Detailed knowledge of deposit process and strong understanding of client impact
  • Strong work ethic, flexible and adaptable with a positive attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond to get the job done
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing, while utilizing specialized skills of tact and persuasion
  • Good judgement with a highly developed sense of integrity and ability to consistently adhere to company and department guidelines
  • Technically savvy: Intermediate knowledge of MS Office programs, Intermediate computer literacy skills, quick and efficient typing skills
  • Great attention to detail, with the ability to properly apply policies and procedures to various situations
  • Ability to help lead team in a fast paced, performance-based environment.
  • Critical thinking skills for innovative ways to improve processes, within the deposits team as well as processes that impact other teams

Education:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Salary: $19.00 per hour
