This includes 8 labor delivery rooms, 7 labor/triage rooms, high risk OB with a 22-bed NICU. We offer a full spectrum of services from education classes for pregnant moms to lactation consultation and support after the baby is born. Our neonatal intensive care unit for high- risk new! borns provides care for the smallest premature newborn to the ! ill, full-term baby.
Parkridge East
is currently looking for a
House Supervisor (RN).
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to assure staffing is planned/provided for patient populations served.
Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.
Provides direction to staff members and/or participates as indicated in assessing, planning, and evaluating care in coordination with the health care team across the continuum.
Deliver compassionate, holistic care, while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients.
Plan, direct, and manage nursing staff in the absence of the unit managers to assure quality service.
Function as administrative representative in the absence of senior administrative staff.
Qualifications:
State of Tennessee Registered Nurse.
BLS, ACLS, PALS certification, current.
Graduate of an accredited RN Program.
Minimum 3 years as an RN, 1 year management experience as a charge nurse, clinical manager or supervisor.
ICU and/or Emergency Department experience strongly preferred.
