It is the responsibility of the Retail Stock Clerk to receive, check-in, process, and prepare merchandise and operating supplies for retail shops. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.

- Count, inspect, check in, and ticket merchandise
- Apply sensor devices to merchandise as needed
- Transport merchandise between retail stores, retail warehouse, and main warehouse
- Write merchandise salvages and merchandise transfers for the retail outlet
- Stock shelves, fold, hang, and place merchandise in stock rooms and selling floors
- Keep stock rooms clean, organized, and stocked with merchandise
- Ensure all items are priced, ticketed, and displayed properly
- Re-ticket merchandise as needed
- Prepare merchandise for shipping to customers
- Prepare damaged merchandise for store manager
- Communicate merchandise and supply inventory needs to store management
- Assist in preparing for and conducting physical inventory and cycle counts
- Perform all duties deemed necessary for the success of the department
- One year previous retail and / or stock experience preferred
- Must have good communication skills and be well organized
- Cash register and clothing steamer experience preferred
