POSITION SUMMARY
The Payroll Analyst is responsible for supporting the US Payroll Operations function, understanding operational processes and to support and represent the business. This role will provide support on Payroll Operations, including Payroll Taxes as well as help lead special projects, identify and implement process improvements, use data and analytics to inform decision making, support vendor partnerships, and other work. This role regularly works with information that requires a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner on projects with other colleagues, continuous improvements, communications to vendors and other stakeholders as needed, understand intersection points for multiple vendors, provide process expertise on assigned subject areas such as tax inquires and or payroll related processes, gather data and conduct analysis for ad-hoc requests.
- Support and resolve Workday and operational queries from the HR Community and business leaders. Provide Workday support for Annual Cycles including Performance and Annual Compensation Planning, and other areas.
- Research, escalate and resolves issues. Run reports, conduct data integrity audits, identify and document recurring or systemic issues that require broader attention and recommends solutions. May be systems or non-systems related.
- Support and or lead small-mid size projects, uses data and analytics to inform and propose recommendations.
- This role may handle mass loads and quality assurance; provide organization change or business unit hierarchy support; and data integrity activities.
- Sort and Scan through payroll mail and make sure it is delivered to correct teams within TR/vendor for processing.
- Support Workday Releases and or enhancements including user acceptance testing and educating internal customers and vendor partners.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High school degree is required. A college degree with a focus on Finance or accounting is preferred.
- Practical experience with Workday is strongly preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required. Strong technical skills, including the ability to manipulate complex data in Excel is essential. The ability to create and edit presentation information in PowerPoint is preferred.
- High level knowledge around tax authorities and registrations process is strongly preferred - Prior HR/Payroll or customer service experience an advantage

Salary: $26.84 per hour
