Gynecologic Oncologist Opportunity
The West Clinic is a 35-Physi! cian Multidisciplinary Cancer Center Specialty Group with eight area locations including a Comprehensive Breast Center. Our Services include: Medical Oncology/Hematology, Gynecologic Oncology, Breast Surgery, Endocrinology, Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology, Pain Management, Hospitalist, Clinical Psychology, and Radiation Oncology.
Hospitals where we work: Methodist University Hospital, Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital, Baptist Hospital-Memphis, and Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis. Future work will involve North Mississippi areas such as Olive Branch and Southaven included in our service area.
We are affiliated with The University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Opportunities are available to work with medical students, Residents, and Fellows. Academic Appointment is available and commensurate with experience and training.
The West Clinic is seeking a Gynecology-Oncologist interested in:
Surgical cases including ra! dical abdominal/pelvic, reconstructive, and laparoscopic minim! ally invasive surgical procedures, robotic/laparoscopic procedures.
Fertility sparing surgery
Colposcopy/LEEP/Laser Therapy
Treatment and Screening: For pre-invasive and hereditary cancer in women
Research protocols
Average work week would consist of approximately 80% outpatient work, 15% inpatient, and 2 surgical days per week. On call every 5th weekend; on call 1 x week.
Candidate Requirements:
M.D.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gynecologic Oncology
EMR and robotic surgery experience
