Position Description:HCA (www.hcahealthcare.com) owns and operates 160 hospitals, 104 surgery centers and 2,000 employed providers in the U.S. and England. HCA is dedicated to providing healthcare services that meet each community’s local healthcare needs.The dotCMS system Administrator is responsible for the overall performance and operations of the dotCMS Content Management System. Located in the corporate office in Nashville, the administrator will use his/her technical skills to support HCA’s dotCMS implementation hosting over 750 web sites used by consumers and patients.
The administrator will collaborate with developers, business users and technical support teams using the product.Responsibilities:Collaborate with dotCMS to manage java application servers, which can include Tomcat, Glassfish, Websphere and other application servers.Perform the installation and high performance configuration of: Apache Tomcat/ the dotCMS, an open source, java based CMS/content management system.Linux and WindowsNetwork Resources such as NFS shares and mounts.Assist in installing and managing existing Windows and Linux Servers at the HCA data centerParticipate as an emergency responder to outages and support issues that might arise on a 24/7 basis with client installations.Develop and execute an overall technical roadmap for the HCA dotCMS implementation with a focus on availability, stability and growth.Environment work experience:A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.5 years system administration within Unix/Linux and Windows environmentsWorking technical knowledge of network and server operating systems, including Linux, Windows and UNIX.Working technical knowledge of internet network hardware, protocols, and standards, TCPIP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP.Experience working with and managing servers for Version Control Systems, CVS, SVN, GIT, HG, PERFORCE, etc.Significant hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Good judgment in the maintenance of relational database management systems (RDMS) software.Requirements:Administrative scripting (bash, tcsh, Perl)5 Years experience with Linux.2 Years experience with Windows servers2 years Experience with Java application servers and application environments.Apache Tomcat basic server managementExperience LDAP/Active Directory services2 years Database experience: PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, OracleExperience in Firewall environments and Firewall configuration.Knowledge of security standards and procedures.Knowledge and/or experience with TCP, Web, Internet protocolsExperience Required:2 to 5 Years
