We are currently seeking an Endoscope Repair Technician to work in our Maryville, Tennessee, facility. Experience is preferred but not required, in-house training will be provided.
Job Description - Endoscope Repair Technician
Following the successful completion of technical training and mastery of an initial skill set, the Endoscope Repair Technician will perform functions related to the repair and service of medical endoscopes. The technician uses a variety of small hand tools and test equipment as well as a microscope to make repairs and facilitate disassembly and reassembly. Completes and maintains accurate service records both electronically and manually. Proactively participates in the quality systems, quality improvement and "5S" programs and works under the supervision of the Lab M! anager or Lead Technician. The technician must be able to reac! h and maintain an acceptable level of productivity and quality, which shall initially be evaluated at the end of 30, 60 and 90 days of employment. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Candidate must have good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity with small hand tools such as screwdrivers, electric screwdrivers, pliers and tweezers and must be mechanically inclined
The ability to work with microscopes and test equipment such as light sources and video processors is required Must be able to read and follow manuals, work instructions, job standards and related information Good communication skills and close attention to detail are essential Must have basic computer skills
