The Director Facility Infrastructure Solutions is a leadership position that is responsible for all initiatives, processes, strategies and communication requirements necessary for the effect! ive operation of the Facility Infrastructure Solutions departm! ent and Facility Infrastructure Advisory Board (FIAB). This position will also be responsible for the integration of the FIAB contract strategy into the overall HealthTrust and CoreTrust organizations and interface with the HealthTrust Advisory Boards to obtain approval for strategic contracting initiatives. The FIAB is comprised of key executives from various member IDNs (e.g., Design, Construction, and Facility Management Vice Presidents, and other corporate positions as appropriate and nominated by the respective IDN). Key responsibilities of the position include:
1)
Support the Contracting organization with the necessary subject matter expertise to enable the Contracting team to negotiate agreements on behalf of the membership that will drive value, including:
Understanding of category specific pricing mechanisms and indices
Contracting terms
Service level expectations
2)
Direct overall activities and commun! ications required for the FIAB to make contract award recommendations (as appropriate) to the Supply Chain Board (SCB).

Determine contract / operational requirements of the membership

Organize meetings and / or data analysis in order to obtain appropriate input
·
Develop strategies

Facilitate group consensus on contract award after review and analysis of multiple data sources including but not limited to:
Engineering and Operational Considerations
Financial Analysis and Recommendations
Contractual Terms and Conditions

Develop and support implementation strategies for contracted products / services / suppliers.
Including implementing all processes and programs for contract operational integration.
Creation of operational and informational support documents for the membership to aid in implementation (and increase agreement utiliz! ation) at the member level.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
! Responsible for all integration of FIAB activities into the HealthTrust and CoreTrust contracting process
Work with the Contracting Teams and Clinical Advisory Board members and associate members to assist in the development and scheduling of the annual contract plan.
Follow established contracting policies and procedures.
Identify, develop and support approved initiatives.
Manage the initiatives to achieve strategic and tactical advantages for the member groups.
Support and interact with team members from all HealthTrust departments.
Assist with implementation of product evaluations, development of evaluation forms and documentation as needed.
Assure meeting minutes and all other supporting documentation is appropriately retained and stored.
Interact with the following groups of individuals (at both the facility and IDN level): Design, Construction, Engineering, Facility Management and Supply Chain lea! ders, and other industry leaders as appropriate.
Maintain appropriate communications with HealthTrust and CoreTrust memberâs key contacts to assess needs, evaluate alternatives, implementation strategies and to secure understanding of and support for initiatives and goals.
Understand and articulate the drivers, trends and new technology developments within the various Facility Infrastructure and Construction categories.
Responsible for identifying pertinent topics and content development for

publication as well as the monthly
FIAB Newsletter
and all pertinent communication outlets.
Develop and maintain marketing, branding and communication plan for all FIS offerings, Newsletter, Scrubs landing page, etc.
Qualifications
Extensive (15+) years experience in project management, with a proven track record of driving collaboration in a fast-paced team environment. Bachelors degr! ee in a building sciences area (i.e. engineering, building construction! management, architecture or business with facility management experience) and / or a Masterâs Degree is preferred.
Proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with executives from large IDNs, and the ability to facilitate consensus of those leaders in a multidisciplinary environment.
Demonstrated success in managing comprehensive contracting and/or service initiatives for a multi-facility organization or IDN.
Experience in facilitating group consensus.
Understanding of the primary technology and strategic issues.
Proven ability to lead diverse individuals by motivating within the team atmosphere, while developing relationships required to work effectively with persons at all levels in an organization.
Demonstrated tendency to challenge the status quo and drive constant improvement in process and ability to achieve organizational goals.
Ability to deal with multiple, competing requests fo! r resources and prioritize accordingly.
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills are required.
Proficient with a computer and the use of Microsoft office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
