PRE-OP/PACU NURSE

Description: United Surgical Partners International is hiring PRE-OP/PACU NURSE right now, this occupation will be placed in Tennessee. Further informations about this occupation opportunity kindly read the description below. As a Pre-Op/PACU nurse at our facility, you have the opportunity to enjoy no week-ends, and no holidays. Under the direct supervision of the nurse manager the pre-op nurse is responsible for implementing the Pre-Operative record,nursing care plan and the assimilation of the patient's hospital record. The pre-operative nurse is responsible for implementing all physician orders, obtaining signatures on consents and providing continuity of quality nursing care for patients.
The PACU nurse is also responsible for implementing all physician orders, provided with continual evaluation of patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all time.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing * Minimum 2 year experience in a hospital setting * Current TEnnessee Nursing License * Current CPR & ACLS, * Excellent communication skills * Good Organization habits * Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgery procedures and management of the surgical patient * Understands principles of aseptic technique and their implementation *
