Do you have a strong personal drive, curiosity and are self-driven and an energetic team-player with an innovative and quality mindset? Then you may be our new laboratory technician in Enzyme Assay Development.
Welcome to Enzyme Assay Development (as part of Global Enzyme & Microbial Assays
The department is responsible for developing, validating and subsequently implementing analytical assays in our global Quality Control laboratories worldwide. We cover the interface between R&D and QC lab to transfer analytical assays from early development to QC lab procedures. The department is divided in teams and the open position is in our team supporting One Health product development projects to assure developing, validating, and implementing of analytical assays into our QC laboratories worldwide, as well as for external partners.
In this role you’ll make an impact by:
Being engaged in evaluating new products or product formats in existing contaminant microbial assays and enzyme assays, as well as developing new procedures. The position will be a mix between classical microbiology techniques and enzyme activity analytical assays. You must be open to learn new procedures, especially if you are not well-experienced in both analytical areas you will need to build up new competences.

- An education as Research Associate (Laborant).
- Hands-on experience with classical microbiology, sterile techniques and similar
- Hands-on experience with spectrophotometric analytical assays and general lab flows
- Enjoy having the lab as your primary workspace and are self-driven in your workday
- Have a high quality and analytical approach to your work
- Strong collaborative and teamwork mindset
- Well-anchored in reading and writing English, since this is default language in instructions and procedures
