JOB SUMMARY
The Natural Gas Scheduler is responsible for activities related to gas flow volumes, including nominations, allocations, confirmations, and balancing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Nominates, allocates, confirms, and balances gas flow volumes
- Determines natural gas volumes available for sale daily and monthly
- Tracks volumes and confirms working interest owner’s allocations within pipeline
- Manages pipeline imbalance and cash out payment
- Monitors pipeline electronic bulletin boards for critical information in order to analyze and reviews things such as interstate transportation tariffs and intrastate statement of operating conditions.Participates in on-call rotation
- Develops and maintains commodity market intelligence and distributes as needed
- Works closely with Operations, Gas Control, and gathering operators to optimize production and pricing and mitigate maintenance impacts
- Established proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Must be detail oriented with high level of accuracy
- Must possess ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure
- Must possess strong quantitative analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
- Must possess strong written and oral communication skills
- Must be able to meet established deadlines
- Proven interpersonal skills to maintain both internal and external relationships

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMAND
Work is typically performed indoors in an office environment. Incumbents must be able to perform work which includes typing, sitting and standing. In the event that incumbent visits operations worksite, personal protection equipment, including head protection, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety shoes, and flame resistant clothing is required. Safety rules including OSHA and DOT requirements are strictly enforced. Employees must be willing to travel and work extended hours on short notice.
