We are a fast-paced screen print and embroidery shop established since 2005, located in Montebello, CA. The successful candidate will be ready to jump in, have an impeccable eye for detail, be able to multi-task and stay organized, and possess exceptional customer service skills and an ability to lead a team. This position will lead the entire print team in executing all jobs with precision, excellence, and efficiency.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Provide exceptional customer service through answering inquiries in person, by phone, and through email with new and existing jobs.
- Use our proprietary software to coordinate competitive quotes and prices for printing and production requirements, with internal and outside vendors, as necessary.
· Create invoices, ensuring accuracy from beginning to end.
· Able to communicate services that the shop provides, in detail to customers.
- Handles day to day print production projects and troubleshoot customer issues.
· Execute revisions and changes, as needed.
· Create mock-ups, designs, and layouts for all customer jobs.
· Revise and update existing design files based on customer requests/feedback.
- Maintain strong communication with and work alongside pre-press to strive for 100% quality of all orders.
- Report to management to resolve issues, as they arise.
- Continually monitor quality of finished product to ensure quality standards are being met (quality control).
· Prepare artwork for transfer to film.
· Open and close the print shop daily.
· Maintain regular shop operations such as checking in deliveries, maintenance of machines, coating, burning and reclaiming screens, and delivery of special orders.
· Employ creative and technical skills in using graphic design programs such as Corel, Photoshop, or Illustrator to create innovative and cutting edge artwork.
· Set and meet deadlines for the team to ensure projects are completed timely and excellently.
· Complete other tasks, as assigned.
