Production Expeditor – Apparel Manufacturing
This is a print on-demand apparel design, development and manufacturing business. We integrate with our clients website receive orders from their consumer, make the product and ship direct to the consumer.
We are looking for a Production Expeditor that is highly motivated, energetic, detail oriented, and extremely organized. The role will be responsible for driving production, from beginning to end, and ensuring production is completed correctly and on time.
This is an extremely high paced position, perfect for someone that wants to be hands on and demonstrate their experience / knowledge of apparel development and production processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- The admin responsibilities of production will be the most important aspect for this role - pre-production and production scheduling.
- Responsible for hitting deadlines of individual and bulk orders interfacing with software team, management, and customer success
- Manage and maintain efficiency of orders getting out on time.
- Plan production based on orders that have been received the previous days with management
- Assist as needed with the pick up and drop off materials, samples and production cuts to vendors, including laundries and dye houses, sewers, cutters, screen printers, finishers, etc.
- Assist production manager as needed with client communication and fittings
REQUIREMENTS
- 1-3 years experience with apparel development or production
- Garment construction, QC, sewing or wash experience
- Swimwear, athleisure, beachwear, and sportswear experience is a plus
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus
- Must be flexible / accommodating with your schedule to ensure deadlines are met and vendor hours are accommodated
- Extremely organized and detail oriented
- High sense of urgency to drive process and hit deadlines
- Must speak English and Spanish well
