Kindly Human is hiring a Peer Coordinator to help manage the talent acquisition and administrative aspects of expanding our Peer network.
Kindly Human provides real, human support and connection through life’s challenges. Our peer network consists of compassionate individuals who share short voice-recordings of personal stories of growth with members in exchange for compensation.
When individuals share how they’ve faced everyday challenges — like dealing with stress, navigating relationships or finding community — they help people facing similar problems feel less alone and supported, creating human connection in a digital world.
The Peer Coordinator role will source qualified candidates that represent diverse backgrounds, experiences and knowledge to support our need for providing human social connection.
Responsibilities:
- Source Peer candidates that meet the requirements of the company
- Navigate recruitment platforms and Community relationships
- Partner with leadership to identify user populations that will give depth and diversity to our Peer network.
- Provide quality candidates that exhibit empathy, compassion, and exceptional listening skills.
- Find candidates that come from a range of backgrounds: professions, cultures, beliefs, ages, genders, etc.
- Manage incoming Peer proposals and subsequent communications.
- Correspond with all candidates in a timely manner
- Provide regular reporting on Peer acquisition results.
- Daily review of manual data from internal database
- Respond to frequently asked questions from users
- Support the Director of Peers with projects as assigned
Skills and Expertise:
- Ability to handle administrative functions
- Recruiting and Talent Sourcing Skills
- Non-profit or Community Organization experience
- Proficient computer skills managing multiple platforms
- Knowledgeable about social media platforms
- Experienced with data handling and spreadsheet management
- Flexible and able to multitask across several projects as assigned
- Deals well with change and ambiguity
- Good Communicator
- Self-sufficient and takes initiative
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
