Clinical Nurse I
Location: Knoxville Tennessee
Description: Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center is in need of Clinical Nurse I right now, this vacancy will be placed in Tennessee. PRN/OCC: Shift Hours: Days (hours may vary based on need); three shifts per week, every other weekend; some major and minor holidays. Active TN RN license; preferred ACLS, experience with ! caring for the post-op open heart patients preferred.
This Critical Care area is a Cardiovascular Unit comprised of:
1. Cardio-vascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU): a 6-bed unit where patients who have undergone open-heart surgery are placed immediately post-op. Other Vascular surgery patients may be placed in this unit as needed as will IABP and Cardiogenic shock.
2. Cardio-vascular Step-Down unit-(CV Step-down) a 9-bed transition unit where first day post open heart surgery patients and patients post myocardial infarction or post stent will be placed.
Currently, we are looking for Registered Nurses in all units. ICU is a fast-paced and rewarding environment where your skills and knowledge will be challenged daily.
