More details about this job opportunity kindly read the description below. The Registered Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care. The nursing process is the basis for care and includes assessment of biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, educational and discharges ! planning factors. Planning and prescribing nursing interventions, implementing them and evaluating care rendered completes the nursing process. The RN must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s age and status; and interpret the appropriate information needed to prescribe and provide care as described in the unit and hospital policies and procedures.
PRN, as needed, position. Current Tennessee or compact state RN licensure required. BSN desired. AHA BLS certification is required to be current upon hire. Must have surgery experience. The position could become full-time with departmental growth.
