Speech Language Pathologist
TriStar Summit Medi! cal Center is currently looking for experienced Speech Language Pathologist/Therapist (CCC-SLP) for a FT position in preparation of opening a rehabilitation unit in the early winter. This position will greatly contribute to our commitment in bringing optimal healthcare to our community. New Grads welcome to apply, Inpatient Rehabilitation experience is preferred.

Speech Language Pathologist.
Responsibilities
:
The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for providing therapeutic intervention, education and recommendations to inpatient rehabilitation patients.
The clinician will organize and implement speech therapy programs to restore function and prevent disability following disease, injury or surgery.
This position requires proficiency in acute care, video-swallow studies, Passi-Muir valve experience, and outpatient services, to patients with ages ranging from infant to geriatric.
Responsibilities also include maintaining standards of professional and ethical practice, while providing the highest quality healthcare that is patient oriented, advanced in technology, cost effective and with care and compassion.
The hospit! al mission and vision will be insured by the integration of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and through the coordination of case management, social work and the ancillary departments in the hospital and community.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
Must be currently licensed by the state as a Speech Language Pathologist
Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider required.
Previous experience in an acute care hospital setting required.
Requires strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
