Functions as part of the patient care team for Cardiopulmonary Bypass, ! Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, Autologous Blood processing, Perfusion Laboratory services/Lab Analysis Equipment, Electronic Physiological Monitoring, Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO), Therapeutic Apheresis, Ventricual Assist Device, Respiratory Assist, and Isolated Limb perfusion
Essential Duties:
Be able to perform:
Cardiopulmonary Bypass;
Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump;
Antilogous Blood processing;
Perfusion Laboratory services/Lab Analysis Equipment;
Electronic Physiological Monitoring;
Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO);
Therapeutic Aphaeresis;
Ventricular Assist Device;
Respiratory Assist;
Isolated Limb perfusion.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Perfusion Technology or Bachelor of Science with a Certificate in Perfusion Technology from an accredited cardiovascular perfusion education program.

Experience:
1-2 years patient care experience ! preferred.
License/Certification:
Certification as a clinical perfusionist by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion within 24 months of start of employment.
Current BLS required.
Annual ABCP certification required.
