Description: Fairway Recruiting & Outplacement is presently looking of General Surgery right now, this position will be placed in Tennessee. For detail informations about this position opportunity please read the description below. Knoxville, TN - large surgical group looking for a surgeon specializing in endocrine procedures. This is a partnership-track position. Must be Board certified in general surgery and completion ! of an Endocrine Surgery fellowship. Candidate will practice an 85% caseload of endocrine, specifically thyroid and parathyroid and 15% general surgery.
Candidate will replace a retiring surgeon who has an established referral base of 14 endocrinologists from 3 different practices in the community. Current caseload is 400 combined thyroid and parathyroid surgeries a year with 15-20 new endocrine patients a week. Call 1:5 and involves some general surgery call. No trauma call.
