Job Summary
As a SpecialtyCare associate you will assume the responsibilities in the O.R. department that deals with the management of laparoscopic surgeries and other endoscopic modalities. As a SpecialtyCare associate, your responsibilities are to set up, trouble shoot, offer tech! nical support and assistance before, during and after surgery.! This will include cleaning, maintaining and inspecting all of our surgical equipment, instruments and supplies. This position serves hospitals in Memphis, TN and surrounding area.
As a Clinical Technician with SpecialtyCare you may perform the following duties after receiving appropriate training and certification through our in-house training program:
Laparoscopy, Arthroscopy, Cystoscopy and Hysteroscopy
Maintain and handle all endoscopic instruments, equipment and products
Responsible for disassembly, cleaning, inspection and preparation of equipment
Requirements
The position does require a high school diploma or GED.
We prefer candidates who have health care experience or training; candidates who are interested in pursuing a medical career; or candidates who are in school or planning to go to school for a healthcare, medical or science degree.
Must live within 30 minutes of our contracted hospitals.!
Must be able to participate in a call rotation and respond to calls or pages within 30 minutes.
Must be able to work flexible hours as scheduled, including weekends and holidays, and to be on-call as scheduled.
This position requires the regular use of reliable transportation to work at multiple locations as needed in Memphis, TN and surrounding area.
Must be able to successfully complete on the job training including certification and company sponsored education modules.
Excellent communication skills are essential.
