We are seeking Board Certified Physicians with a back ground and experience in IONM monitoring support. This position will provide consultation services to SpecialtyCare surgical neurophysiologists performing intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM) in the OR. These consultative services are provided real-time, via a secure remote internet connection allowing for real-time data observation as well as communication with the on-site surgical neurophysiologist, operating surgeon, anesthesiologist and other operating room personnel as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work cooperatively with other remote neuromonitoring physician team members, surgical neurophysiologists and IONM support staff.
Provide an accurate time log for every consultation service provided, in accordance with SpecialtyCare policies and procedures.
Share night and weekend call duties, equitably, with other remote neuromonitoring physicians.
Obtain and maintain state medical licenses as required by SpecialtyCare.
Maintain functional internet connectivity and computer access from work site in accordance with SpecialtyCare policies and procedures.
Participate in administrative meetings, continuing education activities and quality improvement initiatives as requested by SpecialtyCare.
Limited travel may be required, depending on surgeon or patient specific criteria.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Board Certified, M.D. or D.O. degree plus relevant clinical experience or postgraduate medical training.
Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in the required state(s) where SpecialtyCare provides services.
