We’re on a mission in finding the best talent out there and adding an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team at their offices in Limassol or Nicosia, Cyprus.
Your role at BDSwiss:
- Be responsible for implementing and maintaining the infrastructure, automation, and monitoring tools that enable our software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement deployment pipelines, continuous integration, and continuous delivery workflows.
- Implement and maintain infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to manage cloud resources.
- Design and implement monitoring solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
- Assist with incident response and problem resolution, including performing root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
- Manage and maintain our cloud-based infrastructure, including virtual machines, containers, and serverless services.
- Help implement and maintain security best practices, including access control, identity management, and encryption.
The Ideal Candidate :
- University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, Ansible or CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of security best practices for cloud-based applications.
- Knowledge with Git, GitOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices.
- Knowledge of Linux administration and scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby.
- Familiarity of software development processes, including continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Any cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) or Kubernetes certifications will be considered as a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask and meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn new technologies and skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in the English language
