Working under general supervision, participates in implementing, enhancing, and maintaining more complex content management system and web applications, to include development o! f user interfaces, planning and execution of software installation and upgrades, planning, deploying and analyzing performance and system health monitoring, and working with Information Services to monitor server and database usage. Skills & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, marketing, journalism, English, communications, or related field or equivalent education/experience in computer science field.
Minimum of two years experience with Web administration.
Strong knowledge of JAVA programming required .
Site management application support required.
Experience in a high availability/load balanced Web environment.
Knowledge of 3 rd party technology (application servers, network terminology, Web servers, JAVA ! terminology, LDAP, databases, operating systems).
Exp! erience in Windows systems and Web server troubleshooting and performance monitoring.
Experience in remote systems administration.
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams under general directions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to write in clear and concise manner.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage projects from inception to completion.
Preferred:
HTML experience
Content management training/experience
Planning, installing, testing and deploying software patches and upgrades experience
Experience with JAVA Open Source Software
