Unit Director - RN - Registered Nurse Acute Care Hospital ManagerSign on Bonus!!Grady Health S! ystem is one of the largest public academic health systems in the United States. Grady consists of the 953-bed Grady Memorial Hospital, six neighborhood health centers, Crestview Health & Rehabilitation Center, and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Hughes Spalding, which is operated as a Children's affiliate. With its nationally acclaimed Emergency Department and Burn Center, Grady has the premier level I trauma center in the region and serves as the 911 ambulance provider for the city of Atlanta. The state's only Poison Center is housed at Grady as well.We are currently seeking qualified Unit Directors to join our team in Atlanta, GA. There are currently openings on 4 units: General Surgery, General Medicine, Aids/Special Immunology, and Burn Center. Grady offers a highly competitive salary based on experience, as well as a great sign on bonus. Relocation assistance also available. Unit Director 6B General Surgery Must have experience working as a Unit Manager/Director o! r Assistant Unit Manager/Supervisor in an Acute Care facility/! hospital. Unit Director 7A Emory General Medicine Must have experience working as a Unit Manager/Director or Assistant Unit Manager/Supervisor in an Acute Care facility/hospital. Unit Director 9A Aids/Special Immunology Must have experience working as a Unit Manager/Director or Assistant Unit Manager/Supervisor in an Acute Care facility/hospital. AIDS/HIV experience is a plus. Unit Director Burn Center Must have experience leading a team of ICU/Critical Care RNs as a Unit Manager/Director or Assistant Unit Manager/Supervisor. Burn experience is strongly preferred Job Responsibilities The Unit Director (CEO of clinical unit) is responsible and accountable for the units overall strategic and operational planning, operations, and the provision and evaluation of patient care Serves as a positive role model and sets tone for units reputation and performance Provides 24/7 leadership and management in areas of customer satisfaction and provision of safe and effective care Also pro! vide leadership in areas of finance, human resources, communication, patient advocacy, performance improvement, leadership, and professional development
Unit Director - RN - Registered Nurse Acute Care Hospital ManagerJob Requirements Current GA RN license (or ability to obtain) BSN required (MSN preferred) At least 3 years of clinical nursing leadership experience in an acute care setting (Unit Manager/Director, Assistant Unit Manager/Supervisor) Experience in medical surgical, surgery, emergency department, critical care, or other acute care settings required *For Unit Director Burn Center â€" experience in ICU or burn*
